Latin American Lab-sessions:
Applying IDG skills in a real organizational crisis.
- Mobilizing a movement towards the IDGs -
Este encuentro será en español.
This Gathering will be in Spanish.
This will be a hybrid event (on site & Zoom)
The Latin American Lab-session is co-organized by the IDG Hub Colombia and has the format of a Lab-Session, where you will be working individually, in pairs, and in small groups around a real organizational crisis scenario. You will work with the question: How would you have advised the company leadership to act in a time of crisis?
You are invited to hear Daniel Perez, CEO and Co-Founder of the marketing research company Views Corp. in Colombia. He will share his experience of a severe internal crisis that they faced within the company in the year 2010. Daniel will share the decisions he and his business partner made to resolve the crisis.
Participants will reflect on the crisis and analyze which IDG (Inner Development Goals) skills he used to manage the situation and what that might mean for organizational leaders in challenging situations today.
The Gathering addresses several inner development skills and qualities, as they were put to the test in a leadership situation.
About the IDGs
In 2015, the UN Sustainable Development Goals provided us with a comprehensive plan for a sustainable world by 2030.However, progress is not happening fast enough.
There is an urgent need to increase our collective abilities to face and effectively work with complex challenges. This is why we are co-creating the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) - a blueprint of the capabilities, qualities and skills that are needed to achieve the 17 SDGs.
The Inner Development Goals is a non-profit, open-source organization to help us develop the collective inner skills and qualities needed to overcome our global challenges and move towards a thriving world.
